How Curiosin works?

The role of hyaluronan in intact skin.
Hyaluronan is a key skin component responsible for the elasticity and plasticity of the skin It also maintains tissue hydration due to its extremely high water-retaining capacity and regulates tissue regeneration after trauma. Hyaluronan maintains the space between the cells of epithelium to provide micro channels for the diffusion of water and passage of the metabolic and signal molecules.
The formation of zinc hyaluronan.
The hyaluronan matrix isolated from biological sources is used for the formation of zinc hyaluronan. Zinc stabilizes matrix structure via forming a complex with the hyaluronan biopolymer.
The formation of Curiosin gel. During the production of Curiosin gel water is added to form a hydrogel. Once Curiosin gel is applied on the wounded skin, zinc hyaluronan forms a molecular continuum with the hyaluronan present in the intercellular matrix of the dermis. Regeneration starts with the diffusion of components essential for the healing procedure (growth-factors, signal molecules, cells, water, and oxygen) through the microchannels. This hydrates zinc hyaluronan networks acts as a water-delivery system and keeps the wounded skin moist which is in fact the major principle if modern wound management. Healing might be hindered by reactive oxygen species and free radicals. The zinc hyaluronan matrix protects the cells against these damaging factors resulting in reduced tissue inflammation and less wound pain. Due to the molecular pore size of the zinc hyaluronan matrix, it acts as an antibacterial filter against bacteria of airborne and contact origin and, thus, shielding the healing wound from infection. This molecular porosity allows oxygen to go through the layer from the air to the cells of the skin. Curiosin helps to restore the damaged skin to its natural condition and appearance, helps to reduce scarring.
